CATV-31
The CATV-31 is a maintenance-free battery utilizing unique Cast Lead
Calcium grids, envelope separators and a special high density paste material. This new
standby battery has been engineered to provide long run time under the demanding
requirements of catv applications. For ease of installation the CATV-31
includes handles and hardware for your convience.
•VOLTAGE - Nominal voltage at 12.6 volts
•HIGH CHARGE EFFICIENCY - The columbic efficiency is 98% over
most of it's operating range.
•CAPACITY - Rated at 101 Amp Hours. Capacity will vary with
discharge rates; however, the CATV-31 will operate at 25 Amps for over 3
hours(76F ambient).
•HIGH TEMPERATURE PERFORMANCE - "Best Hot Temperature
Battery Available Today." Special lead-calcium grids resist thermal runaway. The CATV-31
can operate in ambient temperatures up to 120F.
•LOW FREEZE POINT - In a fully charged state, the Voltex CATV-31
is designed to withstand temperatures as low as -75F.
•FLOAT CHARGE - Maximum service life can be attained using pulsating
chargers with a peak float voltage of 13.4 - 13.8 volts at 76F.
•LONG CYCLE LIFE - Specifically designed for dependable
"Continuous Use."

CATV-27
The CATV-27 is a maintenance-free battery utilizing unique wrought
lead-calcium grids. Besides never needing water, the CATV-27 has built-in
safety features such as removable flame arrestors and a permanently sealed top. A built-in
test hydrometer and a handle to add to the convience. of the CATV-27.
Ample electrolyte reserve, special high density paste material, extrusion-fusion intercell
connectors, special stainless-steel stud and post terminals and the lead-calcium grids
provide the CATV-27 with exceptional performance characteristics.
•VOLTAGE - Nominal voltage at 12.8 volts
•HIGH CHARGE EFFICIENCY - The columbic efficiency is 98% over
most of it's operating range.
•CAPACITY - The CATV-27 battery has a reserve capacity of 165
minutes. Capacity will vary with discharge rates; however, the CATV-27 will operate at 25
Amps for over 2.75 hours(76F ambient).
•HIGH TEMPERATURE PERFORMANCE - "Best Hot
