and 20 year telecommunications batteries from East Penn Manufacturing Co. Unigy
brand batteries are manufactured to the highest standards as reflected by ISO
9001 certification an ongoing process of design and manufacture to world class
standards.
Unigy telecommunications batteries are built in
a state of the art facility with sizes ranging from 30-amp hr. to 4200 amp hr.
Unigy II Batteries include the following
features:

All plates are tank formed for a more
consistent cell voltage and performance.

Grids are 99.2% pure lead with 0.8% tin
with lead calcium alloy negative.

Cell terminals are solid copper with lead
plating for maximum conductivity.

Built to demanding telephone power
specifications.

20-year life under normal float operating
conditions.
Unigy I batteries include some of the same
features as our quality 20 year product, such as:

Tank formed plates

Absorbed glass-mat construction for ambient
temperature environments and Gel construction for the more demanding
temperature extremes.

High strength metal jacket available for
30-40 amp hour range.

Flame retardant 94-VO and 28 LOI cases are
available.

Non-spillable battery I.C.A.O., I.M.D.G.,
I.A.T.A., and D.O.T. air transport approved.
